ABE

Written by Fernando Grostein Andrade with Palestinian screenwriters Lameece Issaq and Jacob Kader, the film tells the story of 12-year-old Abe (Noah Schnapp), who cooks to unite his half-Palestinian and half-Israeli family. On the streets of Brooklyn, Abe meets Chico Catuaba (Seu Jorge), a Brazilian chef who mixes flavors from around the world at a street food fair. Exploring life and New York, hidden from his parents, Abe makes a special request to Chico: he wants to work and learn “fusion food”.
