CITY OF MEN

The film retraces the journey of Jacinto Franco do Amaral, known as "Moreno," a former player of Clube Atlético Mineiro (CAM) and one of the stars who took part in one of Galo's most beloved victories. In the 1950s, the team became the first Brazilian squad to fight—and win—on the icy European fields. As his grandson, Bernardo, rediscovers himself while unveiling and embracing the idol, the man, and the grandfather, Atlético fans of all ages reconnect, frame by frame, with the black-and-white glory of the past. Through the touching accounts of Jacinto’s loves and friendships, the film beautifully recounts a tale of triumph and human connection
